Production Manager – Food Manufacturing (Sauces & Condiments)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the launch of a brand‑new food manufacturing facility in Somerset. You will be responsible for building the operation from the ground up, implementing large‑scale processes and shaping a high‑performing team as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Design, set up and optimise a new food production line for sauces, condiments or FMCG products.
• Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities, ensuring targets for output, quality and safety are met.
• Recruit, train and manage a production workforce.
• Implement continuous‑improvement programmes to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee inventory, procurement and supply‑chain coordination.
• Maintain compliance with food‑safety regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in food manufacturing, preferably within sauces, condiments or FMCG.
• Strong track record of building or scaling manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive strategic initiatives.
