Production Operative – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Production Operatives to join our medical‑device manufacturing plant in Plymouth. You will work on a continuous shift pattern, helping to produce high‑quality devices while developing transferable manufacturing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, operate and clean moulding and packaging equipment to meet daily production targets.
• Carry out on‑line quality checks on finished products and components.
• Follow standard operating procedures and process‑control systems.
• Handle and store products safely and efficiently.
• Maintain BDPS standards, Good Manufacturing Practice and housekeeping through regular cleaning.
• Participate in health‑and‑safety, quality and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Complete process‑control sheets and perform routine equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Computer literate.
• Eligible to work in the UK and able to provide proof.
• At least 18 years old.

Required skills

• Moulding equipment operation.

• Routine equipment maintenance.
