Production Planner

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Production Planner to join our factory in Watford. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will help allocate jobs, manage lead times and ensure high‑quality orders are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate production jobs using our bespoke SAP system to available stock and machinery.
• Manage production lead times efficiently through optimal use of resources.
• Collaborate with factory operatives to ensure timely, high‑quality output.
• Coordinate with the Customer Services Manager to prioritise production according to delivery requirements.
• Supervise and promote high standards of health and safety throughout the factory.
• Handle stock picking, storage processes and complete order confirmations as needed.

Required profile

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt swiftly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible, proactive approach and strong commitment to meeting customer deadlines.
• Good command of English and solid numeracy skills.
• General IT understanding; SAP experience advantageous but not essential.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent role, Monday‑Friday 9:00‑17:40 (40 hours/week).
