Production Services Specialist II (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Services Specialist II to provide operational support for a large‑scale IP Services environment. The role is fully remote and focuses on load balancing and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) infrastructure, acting as the technical subject‑matter expert for network incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational support for F5, VMware Avi and BlueCat platforms (both on‑prem and cloud).
• Tri­age network incidents, conduct proactive reviews and execute disaster‑recovery testing.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, runbooks and ensure adherence to design and governance standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architecture teams and business stakeholders on projects and service‑improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to wider Operations projects, supporting infrastructure upgrades and resilience enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience with network protocols and services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting complex networking environments.
• Experience working in a contract or IR35‑compliant setting.

Required skills

• DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, SNMP, TCP/IP.
• F5 LTM, GTM and APM.
• BlueCat DNS, DHCP and IPAM.
• VMware Advanced Load Balancer (Avi).
• Incident triage, disaster‑recovery testing, documentation and runbook creation.

What we offer

• Remote contract role inside IR35.
• Rate of $90 per hour.
• 4‑day week (up to 40 hours) on a rota‑based schedule.
