Professional Indemnity Senior Associate

About the role

This senior associate position is based in Manchester City Centre and offers a hybrid working model. You will join a nationally recognised law firm’s Professional Indemnity team, handling high‑value claims for insurers, MGAs and a range of professional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of complex professional indemnity disputes.
• Support partners on technically challenging, high‑value litigation.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with leading insurer clients.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Assist in the strategic growth of the Professional Indemnity practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with solid experience in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation.
• Proven ability to handle complex, high‑value disputes.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical, drafting and communication abilities.
• Excellent client relationship skills and a collaborative team approach.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers or a clear interest in developing others.
