Professional Waste Collection Driver

About the role

Join Veolia’s growing fleet in Lincoln and play a vital part in keeping communities clean and safe. As a Waste Collection Driver you will operate our trucks on scheduled routes, handling a variety of waste containers while adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and empty multiple waste containers.
• Lift and manoeuvre bins of all sizes and weights.
• Perform daily vehicle checks in line with the driver operator handbook.
• Enter route and collection data into the onboard system and submit paperwork each day.
• Comply with all traffic laws, load security regulations and weight limits.
• Maintain a clean carriageway, cleaning any spillages promptly.

Required profile

• Valid Cat C (Class 2) licence.
• Up‑to‑date Driver CPC Digi/Tachograph card.
• Clean driving record.
• Willingness to work 48 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, starting between 04:00‑06:00.
