Project Architect

About the role

We are seeking a technically‑minded Project Architect to lead small teams on heritage‑focused packages and listed refurbishments for high‑profile clients in the City of London. The role involves hands‑on design delivery, coordination of technical information, and ensuring design intent is upheld throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a junior team on packages or portions of significant listed refurbishment projects (hotel or workplace) at RIBA Stage 4.
• Liaise with clients, external consultants, contractors and sub‑contractors to gather and coordinate technical data.
• Produce, manage and coordinate Revit models and construction packages.
• Maintain project programme, ensure efficient team workflow and uphold design quality.
• Support the associate in design development and post‑planning technical delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified RIBA architect with 0‑6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong academic and career record, preferably with experience on high‑profile UK workplace or listed retrofit projects.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with external consultants and contractors.
• Creative, pragmatic problem‑solving approach and strong design sensibility.
