Project Coordinator – Brand Marketing & New Product Development

About the role

We are partnering with a leading Japanese food manufacturer to find a Project Coordinator who will drive brand marketing and new product development initiatives. You will act as the central hub, linking internal teams with external suppliers to bring innovative food products from concept to market.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full New Product Development (NPD) cycle, from idea generation to launch.
• Manage relationships with overseas suppliers, packaging design agencies, and internal technical and purchasing teams.
• Oversee packaging design for new and existing products, ensuring brand consistency.
• Gather market insights, identify opportunities, and translate them into actionable NPD projects.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, product audits, sample inventories, and website updates.
• Support broader marketing activities as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand management, project management or product development, preferably within the food sector.
• Strong organisational skills with a detail‑oriented, collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a hybrid environment.
• Native‑level English; Japanese language ability is a plus.
