Project Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Beccles, working for a global manufacturer of robotics and automation equipment. You will become the technical lead on large‑scale projects, receiving specialist training and a clear progression path.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee projects from sales and quotation through design, manufacture and commissioning.
• Produce accurate quotes and estimates for bespoke robotics and automation equipment.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing and commissioning teams to deliver electro‑mechanical solutions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and client communications for blue‑chip customers.

Required profile

• Engineering background – mechanical, electrical or design engineering.
• Experience in project‑lead roles within robotics, automation or electro‑mechanical sectors.
• Ability to work on full project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Willingness to commute to Beccles (or surrounding East Anglia locations).
