Project Finance Officer – Fixed-Term (12-month)

About the role

Join JERA Nex bp, a 50:50 joint venture between Japan’s largest power generator and bp, as we develop and finance offshore wind projects worldwide. The Project Finance Officer will support the financing of new and existing offshore wind parks across Europe and beyond on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, perform scenario analysis and coordinate with stakeholders to gather up‑to‑date data.
• Participate in project development meetings with internal committees, partners, lenders and advisors.
• Prepare and review internal and external economic presentations and due‑diligence reports.
• Oversee bank reporting, covenant monitoring and track financing trends in offshore wind.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance and/or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance or power‑sector finance.
• Proven ability to build robust Excel economic models.
• Strong analytical, structured and responsible work style with good communication skills.
