Project Manager – Civil Engineering (South West England)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects across the South West. You will oversee the delivery of highways, infrastructure and environmental schemes from pre‑construction through to completion, ensuring safety, schedule and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Control programme, cost and quality performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Support commercial performance, contract administration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects as a Project Manager or Senior Site Agent.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience in highways, infrastructure, flood alleviation, utilities or general civil engineering.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• SMSTS, CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications.
