Project Manager – Data & AI (Hybrid, Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Chief Data & Analytics Officer in driving data, analytics and AI transformation for a fast‑growing financial services business. Based in Manchester city centre, the role is hybrid and offers the chance to work across data engineering, BI and machine‑learning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of data and analytics projects.
• Coordinate work across Data Engineering, BI and AI/ML teams.
• Run Agile ceremonies and oversee delivery governance.
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs and stakeholder communications.
• Remove blockers and ensure accountability across teams.
• Translate technical progress into clear business outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering data, analytics, technology or digital transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience working with data engineers, analysts or software developers.
• Agile, Prince2 or similar project‑management certification.
• Proactive attitude with confidence to challenge constructively.
