Project Manager – Subsea Umbilical Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead and deliver subsea umbilical product projects, working closely with engineering, proposals, manufacturing and other internal teams. The role acts as the primary interface with clients, ensuring designs meet safety, reliability and specification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall project responsibilities, representing client needs and coordinating with all departments to schedule and deliver within scope, quality, time and budget.
• Translate bid data into project budgets and schedules, and maintain weekly project plan status reviews.
• Analyse weekly job cost reports and prepare monthly performance reviews for management.
• Negotiate change orders with customers and ensure timely, accurate communication.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business or Project Management (or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in project management, manufacturing or operations, preferably in subsea or umbilical projects.
• Proven ability to interpret contracts, purchase orders and manage project budgets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Advanced use of MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with MRP systems.
• Database knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
