Property Account Handler – Insurance Broker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Account Handler to join a growing insurance broker in Gillingham. The role focuses on converting new business enquiries, building client relationships and delivering tailored property insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and convert inbound new business enquiries.
• Understand client requirements and arrange suitable cover.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms.
• Build strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
• Handle policy adjustments and support customers throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate records on Acturis.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Household, Personal Lines, High Net Worth or Non‑Standard insurance.
• Strong relationship‑building skills.
• Good technical insurance knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
