Property Counsel – 4‑Month Contract (£700/day)

About the role

Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) is seeking an experienced Property Counsel for a high‑profile, four‑month contract in London. You will support a major UK project by providing legal advice, drafting documentation and managing contentious property matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, update and maintain standard form template documentation to improve performance and compliance.
• Prepare legal advice, reports and briefings for staff across the HS2 programme.
• Advise on landlord‑tenant disputes, possession matters, valuation disputes, trespass, access and title issues under supervision.
• Manage property litigation, including strategy, case management, settlements, evidence, deadlines, disclosure and trial preparation.
• Support Alternative Dispute Resolution policy application in individual cases.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team within a high‑pressure, demanding environment.
• Strong stakeholder influence skills and ability to build effective relationships.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, especially when precedent is lacking.
• Capacity to balance multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
