Property Damage Solicitor

About the role

The firm is seeking a Property Damage Solicitor to join its national insurance practice in Birmingham. You will manage multi-track property damage claims for leading UK insurers, covering fire, flood, storm and other loss events.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex property damage claims from inception to resolution.
• Advise clients on policy coverage and liability issues.
• Draft pleadings, statements of case and settlement agreements.
• Conduct negotiations with opposing parties and insurers.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships.
• Contribute to business development and firm marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (NQ level or higher) with experience in property insurance litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance disputes and coverage analysis.
• Proven ability to manage files with appropriate supervision.
• Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
• Commercially minded and proactive in client development.
