Property Team Leader

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for an experienced Property Team Leader to join a busy Property Management team in Luton. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to lead a dedicated group of coordinators, oversee a diverse portfolio and ensure high‑quality service for landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Property Coordinators and Senior Property Coordinators, holding regular one‑to‑one and team meetings.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of a varied property portfolio, including onboarding, compliance, inspections, maintenance and off‑boarding.
• Monitor occupancy levels, minimise void periods and drive portfolio growth.
• Build and maintain strong landlord relationships, acting as the escalation point for enquiries and complex issues.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and company standards, overseeing statutory certifications such as Gas Safety, EPCs and EICRs.
• Maintain accurate records in property management systems and produce regular performance reports.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Act as senior operational lead during maternity cover and assist senior management with projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in property management, lettings or housing.
