About the role
The Legal500‑recognised firm is seeking an experienced Public Law Paralegal to join its London office. You will work within a high‑performing Public Law department handling civil‑liberties, judicial review and legal‑aid matters for both public and private clients.
Key responsibilities
- Report directly to the Department Director.
- Assist with casework across a range of Public Law matters, including LAA‑funded and private client work.
- Attend clients, take instructions and prepare case files.
- Handle correspondence and manage documentation throughout the litigation process.
- Prepare and submit funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency.
- Support the preparation of judicial review applications, emergency orders and interim relief.
Required profile
- Professional, proactive approach with strong client‑care skills.
- Sensitive and sympathetic understanding of client needs.
- Demonstrated experience in public law, civil liberties or legal‑aid environments.
