Pupil Services Receptionist – Term‑Time Front‑of‑House Role

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organised Pupil Services Receptionist to join our academy on a long‑term, term‑time basis. You will be the first point of contact for students, parents, staff and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming front‑of‑house experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors in person and over the phone.
• Maintain a tidy, organised reception area.
• Perform a range of administrative duties to support academy operations.
• Provide first‑aid support after appropriate training.
• Work 36 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4 pm during term‑time, plus one INSET week.
• Assist with extra hours during school holidays and after‑school events as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational ability and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Previous reception or front‑of‑house experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional demeanour and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• First‑Aid certification or willingness to obtain training.
• Fully checkable work history, references and a current DBS check.
