Pupil Support Administrator – Fixed‑Term (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Pupil Support Administrator to join Hillingdon Manor School on a fixed‑term maternity cover. The role focuses on removing barriers to learning by improving attendance, supporting families and coordinating interventions for vulnerable autistic pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pupil attendance and punctuality, identify concerns and support improvements.
• Work directly with pupils and families to overcome attendance barriers and promote engagement.
• Coordinate attendance interventions, support plans and reintegration programmes.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers, staff and external agencies.
• Conduct attendance meetings, home visits and outreach support where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation while promoting positive attendance across the school.

Required profile

• Experience supporting pupil attendance and working with families, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Well‑organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
• Competent IT skills and accurate record‑keeping abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and improving outcomes for young people.
