Qualified Management Accountant – Transport Industry (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified ACA or ACCA Management Accountant to join a leading international transport and rail business in London. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to senior stakeholders within a fast‑paced global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles.
• Execute month‑end activities including journals, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with year‑end reporting and external audit processes.
• Produce financial analysis to aid business performance decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on finance projects and corporate accounting initiatives.

Required profile

• Newly qualified ACA or ACCA, preferably with practice experience.
• Understanding of month‑end processes and account preparation.
• Strong analytical abilities and confident communication.
• Proactive, organised and eager to develop in an international environment.
• Experience in a multinational business is advantageous.
