Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) for Secondary Schools

About the role
We are seeking qualified Maths teachers (QTS) to deliver secondary‑school mathematics across the Midlands. The role can be a flexible supply placement, a longer‑term assignment or a step towards a permanent post, covering Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and, where available, Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and record student progress, preparing them for GCSE and A‑Level examinations.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with subject leaders and support staff to enhance the maths provision.
- Adapt resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching maths in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
