About the role
We are seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join a busy, well‑established automotive business in Honiton. This permanent, Monday‑to‑Friday position offers a strong work‑life balance, competitive pay and a realistic bonus scheme.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
- Complete MOT documentation and vehicle assessments accurately.
- Identify, report and advise on vehicle defects and repair requirements.
- Assist the workshop team with vehicle inspections, light servicing and minor repairs.
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
- Provide professional, customer‑focused vehicle reporting.
Required profile
- Valid MOT Tester licence.
- Previous experience in an automotive workshop environment.
- Strong knowledge of DVSA testing standards and procedures.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
