Qualified Senior Accountant – Farming Sector

About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Senior Accountant to join our growing practice in Taunton, supporting clients in the farming and rural sectors. You will work from our office with flexible home‑office options, delivering high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts and tax returns for agricultural and rural clients.
• Provide value‑added planning and advisory projects to help clients optimise their businesses.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Take on increasing responsibility with a clear route to management.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent).
• Experience in an accountancy practice, preferably with exposure to the farming or rural sector.
• Demonstrated interest in specialising within agriculture, either through work experience or personal background.
• Ambitious and driven to progress technically and professionally.
