Quality Coordinator and QA Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Quality Coordinator and QA Inspector to join a manufacturing client in Swindon. Working Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:45 pm and half‑day Fridays, you will support both coordination of quality documentation and hands‑on inspection of finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Investigate, document and report internal and customer quality issues.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality matters.
• Create and update internal manufacturing drawings and related documentation.
• Process engineering and quality change requests.
• Plan and conduct internal audits across multiple business functions.
• Inspect manufactured products, verify materials and record non‑conformances.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other quality‑related duties as required.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Experience inspecting materials against technical drawings.
• Familiarity with root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
