Quality Coordinator - Complementary Medicines

About the role

The Quality Coordinator assists and supports the Site Quality Head in ensuring that quality assurance activities are carried out efficiently, effectively and in compliance with the Good Manufacturing Practice code for complementary medicinal products. The coordinator helps build and continuously develop a robust quality system and takes part in site-wide quality observations focused on continuous improvement and compliance. The role reports directly to the Quality Systems and Technical Support Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Quality Head in the efficient, effective and compliant execution of quality assurance activities.
• Help establish and continuously develop a robust quality system of appropriate standard.
• Take part in site-wide quality observations with a focus on continuous improvement and efficient compliance.
• Work in line with the Quality Systems and Technical Support team, following the Global Quality Policy, standards and processes as well as local requirements.
• Support the consistent application of quality requirements in the processes within M&S Virginia.
• Work closely with colleagues in Quality, Production, Warehouse, Engineering and Planning, and may be responsible for other activities within the scope of Quality Virginia.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of cGMP as it relates to complementary medicines.
• Experience in quality systems within a highly regulated GMP environment.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving ability and the ability to assess and evaluate risks associated with complex cGMP-related processes.
• English.
