Quality & Food Safety Administrator – Graduate

About the role

Join an international trading company that supplies edible nuts, dried fruits and seeds across Europe and beyond. As a Quality & Food Safety Administrator – Graduate you will support the day‑to‑day operation of the Quality Management System and help ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organise external quality and food‑safety documents such as specifications, questionnaires, declarations and certificates within the QMS.
• Respond to external information requests from clients, regulators and third parties in a timely and accurate manner.
• Keep the contact‑details database for counterparties’ quality and food‑safety departments up to date.
• Support the BRC‑certified Quality Management System, including preparation for audits and internal assessments.
• Log incoming product samples, track their review status and ensure efficient record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (≤12 months) in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Highly organised, adaptable and eager to learn about international supply chains and regulatory compliance.
• Strong written communication skills for handling external queries and documentation.

Required skills

• Experience with or knowledge of the BRC Quality Management System (QMS).
• Document management and database maintenance abilities.
