Quality Inspector – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Inspector to join a leading automotive production facility in Dagenham. You will work on rotating shifts, inspecting vehicles and components to ensure they meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of vehicles and automotive components.
• Identify, record, and report quality concerns and defects.
• Complete quality documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Support containment activities and corrective‑action processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or similar inspection role.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow inspection procedures and work instructions.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to work rotating shift patterns.
