Quality Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Technician to join our site‑based Quality Assurance team in Oldham. You will support the business in achieving zero product quality issues and zero customer complaints by inspecting components, reporting non‑conformances and driving corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify components and products against specifications, drawings and standards.
• Raise and report product non‑conformances and lead problem‑solving activities.
• Investigate non‑conformance data and collaborate with Production, Production Engineering and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Conduct internal audits to ISO 9001 requirements.
• Produce reports for the Quality Assurance Manager and communicate quality issues across departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in quality inspection or a similar role.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficient with Office 365 applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
