About the role
We are seeking a Quantitative Support Analyst to join our discretionary trading team. The role sits at the intersection of trading and data, helping traders turn ideas into practical tools and dashboards. It is ideal for early‑career professionals who enjoy markets, data analysis and building lightweight analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Build dashboards and tools that give traders real‑time visibility into market data, positions, and performance.
- Translate traders’ hunches or questions into quick tests, charts, or metrics.
- Prototype and iterate lightweight analytics or signals to aid decision‑making.
- Automate and maintain data workflows, ensuring clean, reliable, up‑to‑date information.
- Collaborate directly with traders to understand priorities and refine tools over time.
Required profile
- Up to 2 years of experience in a quantitative, data or analytics role, preferably supporting a trading or investment team.
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Strong curiosity about financial markets and how data can validate or challenge intuition.
- Clear communicator comfortable discussing ideas with non‑technical teammates.
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast‑moving small team.
Required skills
- Python programming (including Pandas and NumPy).
- Data‑visualisation libraries such as Plotly, Dash or Streamlit.
- SQL for querying relational or time‑series databases.
- Experience working with time‑series market data.
