Raw Material Sampler – Night Shift (GMP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Raw Material Sampler to join a leading global manufacturing business on a permanent basis. Working the night shift (22:00‑06:00), you will ensure that incoming raw materials meet strict quality standards through accurate sampling, testing and investigation, supporting regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Sample incoming raw materials in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform quality testing against established specifications.
• Investigate out‑of‑specification results and support corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding quality concerns and non‑conformances.
• Ensure laboratory equipment remains calibrated and compliant.
• Work in line with GMP, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support Environmental Health & Safety initiatives within the laboratory.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cross‑functional projects.
• Complete testing activities within agreed service levels.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Quality Control, Laboratory Operations or Raw Material Sampling.
• Experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Effective problem‑solving and investigative abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good colour vision and ability to identify visual differences in materials.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
