R&D Manager – Product Development

About the role

Amcor is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead product development initiatives across Europe. The role sits within the Research and Development function and reports to the Product Development Director. You will be part of a hybrid team that drives innovative, responsible packaging solutions for the dairy sector, aligning with Amcor’s core values of safety, sustainability and customer focus.

Key responsibilities

• Lead dairy product development projects from concept through commercialisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create packaging solutions that meet safety, regulatory and sustainability standards.
• Manage research activities, ensuring they support Amcor’s strategic objectives and deliver measurable business impact.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in research and development or product development, preferably within the packaging or food industry.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and adapting to a fast‑changing market.
