About the role
We are seeking an ambitious and creative Reception Primary Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Barnet, starting after September 2026. The school offers an enthusiastic team focused on the development of both teachers and pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons for Reception pupils.
- Promote literacy and numeracy development across the class.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt lessons quickly to meet the needs of all abilities.
Required profile
- Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in planning and delivering lessons to a high standard.
- Confidence teaching across all ability levels.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to think fast and adapt lessons accordingly.
- Track record of raising attainment.
