Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join the opening team at Sun Street Hotel, a new 5‑star property on the border of Shoreditch and the City of London. You will be the first point of contact for guests and members, delivering a memorable first impression and supporting the Front Office team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and check‑out processes, including luggage handling and storage.
• Handle cash transactions and follow all cash‑handling procedures.
• Check VIP rooms, itineraries, amenities and special requests.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to fulfil guest and member requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of daily operations, events and procedural changes.
• Build relationships with guests and members to understand their needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar receptionist or front‑office role within a hotel or luxury restaurant.
• Confident, personable and able to create memorable guest experiences.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Positive demeanour and excellent customer‑service attitude.
