Receptionist – Luxury Club (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a professional Receptionist to join our luxury club in London on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will be the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering a seamless and memorable experience from arrival through departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests, escort overnight visitors to rooms, and introduce key room features.
• Host restaurant and lounge areas, assist with drinks service, and promote club facilities, private areas, events, and dining options.
• Handle reservations, answer incoming calls, and coordinate guest requirements with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
• Maintain club standards for accommodation, manage shoe care, pressing, and dry‑cleaning requests, and ensure confidentiality of member information.
• Support the Reception Manager with bookings, operational tasks, and senior management requests.
• Perform Duty Manager duties during weekend shifts, overseeing housekeeping and food & beverage requests while monitoring health and safety.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a receptionist role within a luxury or high‑end hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to serve high‑profile guests with exceptional customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with people from diverse cultures and handling challenging situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Front of House systems and related equipment.
