Receptionist – Temporary Healthcare Role

About the role
We are looking for a professional, organised and personable Receptionist to join a friendly healthcare office in Littlemore, Oxford. This is a minimum 10‑week temporary assignment with an immediate start, offering the chance to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and professionals in a friendly, professional manner.
- Manage incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Book, amend and confirm appointments.
- Maintain accurate records and update information on internal systems.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team.
- Ensure the reception area remains organised, presentable and welcoming.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm, professional and organised in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, customer service or healthcare setting (desirable).
- Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient‑focused approach.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
