Recreation Assistant – Lifeguard at Woodstock Open Air Pool

About the role

GLL is seeking a flexible Recreation Assistant to join the team at Woodstock Open Air Pool. This role combines lifeguarding duties with general pool and centre support, offering a rewarding career in a vibrant community setting.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate across pool areas, supervising swimmers and ensuring safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool environment and surrounding facilities.
• Set up and manage pool equipment and activity spaces.
• Provide first‑class customer service and address visitor queries.
• Support the wider centre team with studio, gym and sports hall preparation and general upkeep.

Required skills

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with current training records.
