We're looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our successful Southend office, specialising in the Business Support Temporaries sector across Southend and the surrounding areas, so car driver essential due to client visits. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a specialist desk, build lasting client relationships and connect talented candidates with opportunities across commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Building and developing relationships with commercial clients across Southend and the surrounding areas
• Generating new business opportunities and growing existing accounts
• Taking job briefs and providing tailored recruitment solutions
• Sourcing, attracting and engaging high‑quality candidates
• Managing the recruitment process from vacancy through to placement
• Completing compliance checks, including right‑to‑work and references
• Delivering an excellent experience for both clients and candidates

Required profile

• Either previous agency recruitment experience or a strong sales background
• Business development and relationship‑building skills
• A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
• Driven, resilient and motivated to succeed in a fast‑paced environment
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Car driver with own vehicle and valid driving licence essential
