Recruitment Consultant – Engineering & Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join Cedar’s in‑house team, focusing on the engineering and construction sectors. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to understand needs, devise sourcing strategies and deliver high‑quality candidates for both blue‑collar and white‑collar roles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process from brief to offer and placement.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, databases and networking.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for engineering and construction markets.
• Conduct candidate interviews, assess fit and guide the interview and offer stages.
• Provide market insight on salary levels, candidate availability and trends.
• Collaborate with the Recruitment Resourcer to maximise candidate generation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment consultancy or in‑house recruitment, preferably within engineering, construction or infrastructure.
• Strong ability to build relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Commercially aware with a track record of meeting recruitment targets.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
