Recruitment Consultant – Exeter (Hybrid, OTE £60K+)

About the role

Join Proactive Appointments as a Recruitment Consultant based in Exeter. You will work in a hybrid setting, building your own client desk and matching high‑calibre IT talent with exciting opportunities across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture new client relationships through outreach and networking.
• Source, engage and support candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
• Manage your own desk with commercial autonomy, driving revenue and meeting targets.
• Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure seamless candidate sourcing and support.

Required profile

• Experience in a client‑facing recruitment or sales role, or strong transferable sales skills.
• Proven ability to generate new business and build lasting relationships.
• Ambitious, target‑driven and resilient with a strong work ethic.
• Ready to take ownership of a business within a business.
