Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Randstad is seeking a dynamic Recruitment Consultant to join its Birmingham construction team. You will act as the bridge between clients and candidates, driving business development while delivering high‑quality talent solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new and maintain existing client relationships through business development and sales calls.
• Manage and grow current client accounts by identifying additional recruitment opportunities.
• Assist clients with their recruitment needs and provide strategic advice.
• Source candidates that match pre‑qualified specifications using databases, job boards and online tools.
• Write and tailor job advertisements to meet client requirements.
• Build and maintain a network of talented candidates for future placements.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive approach to business development and sales.
• Ability to manage multiple client and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a results‑driven mindset.
