Reefer Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Reefer Logistics Coordinator will manage import refrigerated (reefer) accounts, ensuring smooth operations for our largest supermarket client. You will work within DP World’s forwarding division, supporting day‑to‑day activities and delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily operations for import reefer accounts.
• Ensure all required milestones on the Connect system are completed on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Complete customs entries accurately and efficiently.
• Raise customer invoices and process purchase invoices promptly.
• Monitor and report on customer performance, spotting changes in support or shipping trends.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and promote best practices across the department.
• Act as a backup for team members when required.
• Liaise with team leaders and escalate issues to the General Manager as needed.
• Maintain accurate job filing and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Provide full handovers for planned absences or holidays.
• Monitor profit and loss for assigned accounts and safeguard business interests.

Required profile

• GCSEs or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in logistics or freight forwarding, preferably with ocean imports.
• Strong understanding of customs processes and operational logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
