About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Account Manager, internally known as Business Development Manager, to drive growth and deliver exceptional service across the UK manufacturing sector. You will own your sales pipeline, collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers and internal specialists, and help customers reduce costs while improving efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across the designated region.
- Increase customer spend and maximise share of wallet.
- Identify and win new customers to expand the territory.
- Manage and develop a robust sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal product specialists.
- Support customers with parts, spares, PPE, tools and MRO requirements.
- Use CRM systems and KPIs to monitor performance and territory growth.
- Deliver high standards of customer service at all times.
Required profile
- Proven experience in account management or business development.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
- Commercial awareness with a results‑driven mindset.
- Ability to manage a territory and prioritise workload effectively.
- Experience in manufacturing, MRO, PPE or a trade environment is desirable.
- Team player with a proactive, customer‑focused approach.
