Registered Manager – Small Mental Health & Dementia Home

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a small specialist mental health and dementia care home located on the outskirts of Watford. The role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and fostering a supportive environment for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
• Lead, develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding care.
• Manage budgets, staffing levels and resource allocation.
• Maintain high standards of resident wellbeing, safety and satisfaction.
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in elderly or nursing care, preferably within mental health or dementia settings.
• Strong leadership abilities and proven track record of managing care home teams.
• In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Registered with the NMC or qualified nurse.
