Registered Nurse Band 5 – Savernake Ward (Part‑time)

About the role

As a Band 5 Registered Nurse you will join the Savernake Ward at Savernake Community Hospital, providing sub‑acute, rehabilitation and end‑of‑life care within a multidisciplinary team. The role offers a supportive environment with clinical leadership from consultant nurses and a ward manager who promotes compassionate leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients on the ward.
• Supervise and support Nursing Associates, junior staff and nursing students.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and a flexible approach to shift patterns.
• Confidence using IT systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
