Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work the night shift on a maternity‑cover basis at our Abundant Grace Dementia/Nursing home in Seaford. This full‑time, fixed‑term position runs until September 2026 and involves delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of resident care, health, safety and welfare during night hours.
• Champion resident choice and autonomy, ensuring dignified and respectful treatment.
• Support and, when required, help manage the on‑duty care team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide exemplary communication and coordinated care.
• Foster relationships with families, advocates and next‑of‑kin, keeping them informed of residents’ wellbeing.
• Complete comprehensive, timely documentation, including individualized care plans and updates.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification (Nursing degree or above) and current UK registration.
• Experience in a nursing role within the UK, preferably in geriatric, frailty, end‑of‑life or dementia care.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver satisfactory outcomes under night‑time pressures.
• Strong verbal and non‑verbal reporting skills.
• Availability for full‑time night shifts (36 hours/week) and every other weekend.
