Regulatory Business Analyst - AXIOM

About the role

This contract position supports a global bank’s International Controllers change‑management team on a time‑bound APAC regulatory reporting project. You will help design and deliver reporting solutions while building the strategic Axiom infrastructure that underpins them.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement APAC regulatory reporting requirements, focusing on a major reporting project and related internal initiatives.
• Write clear user stories and collaborate with technology teams using Agile Scrum to ensure accurate translation of business needs.
• Minimise operational risk by automating manual processes with digital tools such as Alteryx and Power BI.
• Analyse regulatory guidance, provide subject‑matter expertise, and challenge existing approaches to achieve full compliance.
• Document processes, decisions, and deliverables for reporting teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in regulatory reporting, data strategy, financial, capital or liquidity reporting.
• Hands‑on experience as an AxiomSL Business Analyst or Developer.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Certified Accountant qualification is preferred.
