Regulatory Paralegal – Fitness to Practise (6‑month contract)

About the role

The Regulatory Paralegal will join a high‑performing investigations team within a leading UK regulator’s Fitness to Practise function. This six‑month fixed‑term position may become permanent and offers a hybrid working pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of serious concerns about professional conduct.
• Assess risk, gather and evaluate evidence, and progress cases through the regulatory process in line with statutory requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive case files for panel consideration.
• Prioritise competing tasks while maintaining high organisational standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months experience in investigations, regulatory work, or litigation case handling.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to handle a high‑volume caseload independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and experience handling confidential information in a regulated environment.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass DBS and pre‑employment screening checks.
