Regulatory Solicitor (Advocate) – £70k‑£80k DOE, London

About the role

This position offers an experienced regulatory solicitor the chance to join a nationally recognised specialist team in London. You will work on high‑quality advocacy matters for professional regulators across sectors such as healthcare, legal, education and professional services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present cases before regulatory tribunals and courts, including fitness‑to‑practice and disciplinary hearings.
• Draft hearing documentation, advise on investigations and support clients on broader regulatory issues.
• Manage a mixed caseload of contested and uncontested hearings from inception through to advocacy.
• Collaborate with a specialist team to protect the public and uphold professional standards.

Required profile

• Qualified advocate with at least three years of experience in regulatory, disciplinary or fitness‑to‑practice proceedings.
• Strong advocacy, communication and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in professional regulation and ability to manage an independent caseload.
• Experience in healthcare regulation or tribunal advocacy is advantageous.
