Relationship Director – Independent Schools

About the role

Join Lloyds Banking Group’s Business & Commercial Banking team as a Relationship Director focused on independent schools. Based in London, you will support SME clients with a range of lending and working‑capital solutions while driving growth for the bank’s education portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide term loans, invoice finance, hire purchase, trade deposits and other credit solutions to school clients.
• Expand the portfolio by cross‑selling the bank’s full proposition to existing relationships.
• Develop new business opportunities and act as the bank’s representative within the local education community.
• Adopt digital tools and innovative processes to improve client and colleague experiences.
• Collaborate with regional teams to achieve sales and risk targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Relationship Director, preferably managing education‑sector clients.
• Proven track record of delivering results and acquiring high‑value new clients.
• Strong credit and sector knowledge with the ability to balance growth and risk management.
• Growth mindset and willingness to embrace new tools and approaches.
